The Testo 470 Digital Tachometer is a compact, one-hand operated instrument designed for precise RPM, speed, and length measurements. It functions as both an optical and mechanical tachometer, making it suitable for monitoring motors, fans, shafts, and conveyor belts.
For optical RPM measurement, simply apply a reflective marker to the rotating object and aim the red beam for non-contact readings from up to 600 mm away. For mechanical measurements, attach the probe tip adapter to measure RPM directly or use the wheel attachment to determine speed and length.
The Testo 470 offers a wide measuring range (1 to 99,999 RPM optically, 0.1 to 19,999 RPM mechanically) with high accuracy. The large LCD display, intuitive operation, and transport case with accessories make it a reliable tool for maintenance professionals and industrial applications.
