The REMI VM-100 Multi-Tube Vortex Mixer is a high-performance device designed for mechanical and chemical cell lysis, suspension mixing, and general sample agitation. Unlike traditional vortex mixers, this unit can accommodate full racks of tubes, microwell plates, vials, or cylinders, making it ideal for high-throughput applications where multiple samples need to be mixed simultaneously.
Powered by a durable permanent magnet motor with sealed ball bearings, the VM-100 ensures smooth and consistent mixing. The variable speed microprocessor control provides precise and uniform mixing action across a speed range of 500 to 2500 rpm, with a programmable pulsing mode that allows users to adjust the pulse-on and pulse-off times between 1 and 59 seconds in 1-second intervals.
The unit features an easy-to-read LCD display, with independent screens for speed and time, enabling users to monitor both settings simultaneously. The mixer’s tray, measuring 313 x 180 mm, has a maximum weight capacity of 24 x 15 ml tubes. It offers continuous duty operation, making it a reliable tool for long periods of mixing.
