Sartorius qualitative filter paper discs – Grade 292, Equivalent to Grade 1

The Sartorius qualitative filter paper discs – Grade 292 are designed for analytical applications where low ash content is critical. With an ash content of ≤ 0.06%, these papers are ideal for analyses involving soil testing and malt filtration according to EBC standards, where even trace contaminants can affect accuracy.

Manufactured from cotton linters, these papers are low in nitrogen and nitrates, making them particularly suitable for processes sensitive to such elements. Grade 292 offers a particle retention range of 5–8 µm, ensuring efficient fine particle filtration. Despite its fine retention capability, the paper maintains good flow characteristics, with an average filtration time of 45 seconds.

With a weight of 87 g/m² and thickness of 0.18 mm, these filters strike a balance between durability and precise filtration, supporting both vacuum and gravity methods. A variety of diameters are available to suit different filtration setups.
