The Borosil CKD series classical Kjeldahl distillation units offer a traditional yet dependable solution for nitrogen estimation using the Kjeldahl method. Designed for laboratories preferring a manual setup with visible process control, these systems feature classic laboratory heaters combined with standard glassware and accessories for robust operation.
Available in 1-position (CKD015) and 6-position (CKD065) models, both variants are compact and ideal for batch-wise serial heating. Each position is equipped with its own heating element capable of reaching up to 450 °C, with a dedicated temperature regulator per flask. The units support 500 ml Kjeldahl flasks, and are also compatible with 800 ml versions for increased flexibility.
The systems include LED displays showing time and process status, with timers programmable from 1 to 999 minutes. Paired with graham condensers and splash heads, these units provide reliable performance in labs conducting protein and nitrogen analyses in food, agriculture, and environmental samples.
