The Borosil WLS series elemental stirred water baths are designed for laboratories that require enhanced temperature uniformity through active circulation. Suitable for critical incubation tasks, biochemical processes, material testing, sample temperature stability, and food testing, the WLS models feature an overhead stirring mechanism for consistent performance and superior heat distribution.
Each model integrates a continuously rated, self-cooling motor with a stainless steel shaft and propeller, ensuring uniformity of ±0.2 °C throughout the bath. The tank is made from seamless deep-drawn SS304 stainless steel, with rounded corners and a perforated base plate to facilitate both easy cleaning and efficient convection.
A microprocessor-based PID controller allows users to fine-tune temperature settings in 0.1 °C increments, supported by a 7-segment LED display and a programmable timer (00:00 to 99:59 HH:MM). Dry run protection, overheat alarms, and glass wool insulation are built in for added operational safety. 12 L and 20 L models include drain taps for convenience.
Optional accessories such as SS lids with nylon concentric rings, polycarbonate lids, and polypropylene ball shields help optimize thermal stability and reduce evaporation.
