The Borosil Quanta Pro and Promax series UV-visible spectrophotometers are high-performance analytical instruments built for precision, speed, and versatility in laboratory environments. These systems feature true double-beam optics with a blazed holographic grating (1200 lines/mm) in Czerny–Turner mounting, ensuring accurate and reproducible spectral analysis across a broad wavelength range.
The Quanta Pro model operates with a fixed 1 nm bandwidth, while the Quanta Promax offers variable bandwidth control from 0.1 to 5.0 nm, making it ideal for advanced applications requiring fine spectral resolution. Both models feature a 10-inch high-resolution capacitive touchscreen integrated with an inbuilt desktop OS, offering complete control through an intuitive, graphical interface. The systems are preloaded with Scanalyser software, compatible with Microsoft Windows 7 and above, and support CFR 21 Part 11 compliance including digital signature integration.
Users can operate the system wirelessly via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, or USB, enabling seamless connectivity to laptops, tablets, and cloud storage. Additional features include automatic lamp changeover, auto wavelength selection based on D2 peaks, and individual lamp control to extend lifespan. The sample compartment is spacious enough to support a wide range of cuvettes and path lengths.
Photometric accuracy, stability, and repeatability are core strengths of the Quanta series, with noise levels as low as 0.00003 Abs, wavelength accuracy of ±0.05 nm, and baseline drift below 0.0002 Abs/hr. With rapid scanning speeds up to 4000 nm/min, advanced validation features, and intelligent data handling, the Quanta Pro and Promax are ideal for demanding applications in pharmaceuticals, chemical testing, environmental monitoring, and academia.
