The Borosil MFB008 fiber analyser offers a compact, precise, and high-throughput solution for fiber estimation in food, feed, and research applications. Utilizing fiber bag technology with spacer-based batch processing, this unit ensures superior accuracy and reproducibility (<1%) across multiple determinations including crude fiber (CF), acid detergent fiber (ADF), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), and acid detergent lignin (ADL)—as per AOAC Method 978.10.
With eight sample positions, the MFB008 increases efficiency through automatic radial flow agitation, and a non-pressurized system ensures maximum operator safety. The interface provides guided process prompts, while the buzzer alert indicates process completion. It supports controlled heating for acid and alkali digestion steps, followed by filtration, drying, and ashing procedures.
Designed with drop-in coupling for precise head-base alignment and constructed to minimize bench space, this instrument simplifies fiber extraction from fat-free samples. The system runs each cycle in approximately 120 minutes and requires ~1.2 liters of reagent per process. For optimal performance, it can be paired with a Soxhlet extractor (for fat removal) and a chiller unit.
