Vane Anemometer Testo 410-1

The Testo 410-1 is a compact, pocket-sized vane anemometer ideal for quick field checks of air velocity and temperature in various environments.

Brand

Testo

Model

Testo 410-1

Operating temperature

-10 to +50 °C

Battery type

2 AAA micro batteries

The Testo 410-1 Vane Anemometer is designed for fast, reliable measurements of air velocity and temperature, making it perfect for quick checks at ventilation grilles and other air outlets. Its permanently mounted 30 mm vane allows it to accurately measure low flow speeds, with an air velocity range of 0.4 to 20 m/s. In addition to surface airflow, it measures ambient temperature using an integrated NTC sensor, and can calculate both the Beaufort wind force and wind chill temperature—vital parameters for assessing the perceived indoor or outdoor climate.

User-friendly features include a hold function to freeze readings, min/max value tracking, and an illuminated display that remains clear even in low-light conditions. The Testo 410-1 supports selectable units for both air velocity (m/s, km/h, fpm, mph, kts, Beaufort) and temperature (°C, °F, wind chill), ensuring versatility for different measurement needs. Compact and lightweight at 110 g (with protective cap and batteries) and with dimensions of 133 x 46 x 25 mm, it is designed for portability and ease of use in both indoor and outdoor settings. The device operates with two AAA batteries (average battery life of 100 hours, without display illumination) and is rated at IP10, making it a robust choice for everyday use in demanding environments.
