The Borosil KBD series block digesters are designed for fast, safe, and uniform digestion of multiple samples simultaneously. Ideal for high-throughput laboratories, these digesters use aluminium blocks to ensure consistent heating across all sample tubes. The system allows users to precisely control temperature curves and monitor all parameters with a graphical LCD interface.
Equipped with up to 99 programmable presets and up to 4 ramp-and-hold steps, the digesters enable unsupervised operations tailored to specific testing protocols. A built-in PID controller ensures stable temperature performance, while auto-off functionality after cycle completion enhances operational safety. Additionally, the digesters support connectivity to PCs and printers, allowing process data management and documentation.
With robust stainless-steel construction and an FRP control panel, the KBD series ensures long-term durability even in demanding laboratory conditions. The models are available in 6, 8, and 12-position variants, all supporting 250 ml digestion tubes, and offer optional integration with cooling stations to optimize sample throughput.
