The Borosil Tapti Thermoreactor COD120 is a compact and efficient solution designed for closed reflux digestion in COD and related water quality analyses. Its sealed-vial format simplifies operations by reducing reagent consumption and enhancing safety, making it ideal for routine laboratory use in wastewater testing.
Equipped with a corrosion-resistant aluminum heating block, the COD120 offers precise temperature control up to 180 °C with ±1 °C accuracy. The 12-position vial holder accommodates standard 16 mm × 100 mm digestion vials, allowing for batch processing while minimizing bench space usage.
A transparent UV-protective lid provides visibility during digestion while ensuring operator safety. The thermoreactor includes preset temperature-time combinations (100°C, 120°C, and 150°C for 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes), as well as manual timer and temperature settings with real-time display of both set and actual values.
Designed for one-touch operation, the device supports a variety of applications beyond COD testing, including trace metals, TOC, total phosphate, total nitrogen, and total chrome determinations. Delivered with 12 digestion vials, the COD120 offers a plug-and-play setup for modern labs focused on consistency, simplicity, and safety.
