The Borosil SDU Series single distillation units are automatic, all-glass water distillation systems built for reliable, on-demand operation in laboratory environments. Designed for ease of use and minimal intervention, these units allow users to preselect the desired volume of distilled water. Once the set amount is produced, the unit automatically shuts off, conserving both power and water.
Constructed with high-grade borosilicate glass and quartz heaters, the SDU units ensure purity and chemical resistance during distillation. A countdown timer displays the estimated collection time, and digital alerts provide updates throughout the process. Safety is enhanced by the auto cut-off system, which detects any interruption in feed water, heater malfunction, or sensor errors, shutting down the system as a precaution.
Maintenance is simplified with a built-in cleaning guide, making it easy to remove sediment buildup without disassembly. Threaded joints ensure leak-free operation. Available in three output capacities—1.5, 2.5, and 4.0 liters per hour—these units are ideal for laboratories needing compact, efficient, and reliable distillation solutions.
