The Borosil KDI040 is an advanced Kjeldahl distillation system offering a high level of automation, repeatability, and operator safety for nitrogen and protein determination. Designed to meet the needs of routine and precise analytical workflows, it automates the critical steps of alkali, distilled water, and boric acid addition—minimizing manual handling and maximizing reproducibility.
This system features a borosilicate glass assembly combined with a stainless-steel steam generator for long service life and corrosion resistance. With a steam power adjustment range of 25% to 100%, it is suitable for various sample types, ensuring flexibility in lab operations. The LCD display allows real-time process monitoring, and 50 editable programs—including 10 predefined methods—provide excellent versatility.
The KDI040 includes multiple safety features: a kill switch for accidental door opening, tube damage detection, reagent level sensors, and process resume functionality. Additional highlights include anytime alkali addition, detachable drip tray, and SELV protection, making it a robust solution for high-accuracy Kjeldahl analysis.
